Hello Penguins!

Here's an update on what we've been working on this week. We want to let you know a little bit about what we're doing here behind the scenes.

Adventure Party this month - We're putting the finishing touches on this month's event... the Adventure Party! I won't say too much just yet, but I hear a certain pirate may be making an appearance...

Clothing catalog and newspaper - We're doing some updates to our systems for the next few weeks, so the newspaper and this month's clothing catalog will be launching early next week instead of today. Don't worry, we'll let you know as soon as they're ready. Here's a sneak peek of the catalog:

New free items - We're still sending out the two new items to everybody. It will take a few days for the new Red Hat or Blue Cloud background items to get to everyone's accounts.  

Bugs squashed - We squashed a bunch of bugs last night, so you can play Card-Jitsu again. We also fixed a couple issues with DJ3K that were causing Flash Player to freeze. Thanks for letting us know about them and helping us make Club Penguin better for everyone! 

New games - We've been working on a few new game prototypes. Thanks to those of you that beta tested Rollerscape and some of the other prototypes. You guys had some great feedback! We should have some new games up on the Beta Team site very soon.

I think all these updates coming are cool! I can't wait for the Adventure Party and it's great that we will get to test MORE NEW GAMES on the Beta Team page. The Club Penguin Team have updated a lot recently! I think it's a good thing that the catalog has been delayed because the team are BUSY SQUASHING BUGS! Let us know what you think of recent updates.

Music Jam Special Announcement!

Billybob has posted a special announcement on the Club Penguin Community Blog. Here is what Billybob has said -

Hello Penguins!

Thanks to you guys, Music Jam has been awesome this year! It's cool to see so many of you dancing the robot and starting up your own bands.

We heard a lot of you don't want the party to end... You asked... and we've listened!

Guess what... We're extending Music Jam for you! Now EVERYONE can party for an extra week!

How are you going to spend the extra party time? Let us know in the comments!

Map Update!

Field Ops #47

Hey Penguins!

Field Ops have returned! Here's how to complete this weeks Field Op - 

Head to the Command Room and accept the Field Op from G. Lets take a look and see what this weeks orders are -

G has hidden a device in a machine and we have to disable the device.

This weeks Field Op location is at the Hidden Cave - 

Stand next to the power box.

Your Spy Phone will flash and you will then be able to play this weeks mini - game - 

In this mini - game, you have to match the symbols and destroy the circuits.

When you complete this mini - game, you will earn your medal.

I've heard that a few of you want a quicker way to get to your favorite games and areas. The team's been working on that for you! I wanted to make sure you were the first to see this:

Hello Penguins!

This week, we're celebrating our favorite first memories of Club Penguin by welcoming new friends to the island!

We've heard that many of you wished you had items when you were new to the island. Guess what? To start the celebration, every new player will receive two items -- a new background and new hat! Check it out:

We'll also be giving these items to EVERYONE! If you already have a penguin, you'll get these two new items added to your inventory as part of the celebration! What do you think?

Another EPF Message From G

Hey Penguins!

G has sent all agents another new message on the Spy Phone - 

The message says - "New Field-Op tomorrow. Each class lead will be running a training operation over the next few weeks. Check the Command Room for orders."

Field Ops will be returning tomorrow! Each FIeld Op will be related to each of the different classes. Let us know if your looking forward to the return of Field Ops.

EPF Message From G

Hey Penguins!

Agents should check their Spy Phones because G has sent us a new message - 

The message says - "Field-Ops will be returning soon. Since Herbert is hiding, we'll assign weekly training-ops instead, so agents can continue earning medals."

G is telling us that Field Ops will return soon. The Field Ops will improve help Agents improve and we will still be able to earn medals. Would you like to see harder Field Op, mini - games?, or do you think that the mini - games are already difficult? Send us a comment and let us know!

You Decide: Animal Costume

While the Music Jam party continues on the island, we thought it was time for something a little different here on the blog.

We wanted to show you a few costume ideas the team's been working on. We want YOU to decide which items we should make for an event in September!

Message From The Director

Hey Penguins!

The Director has sent all agents a new message on the Spy Phone -

The message says - "Listen agents - if mistakes were made, we must learn from them and move on. That is why we are a force of agents. No one is perfect."

That is a nice thing for the Director to say. Those are some very positive words. I think the EPF will be able to learn from these mistakes.

My favorite song on CP is Penguin Band Boogie because the sound of the music is ROCKIN COOL!!!!! I also like it because funky and there's beat boxing. I hope everbody heard it before and liked it. WADDLE ON!!!!!!
P.S Penguin Band Boogie is on Dance Contest. So ANYBODY can hear it!

The Music Jam has started! There are lots of cool things around the Island. Here is a guide to the Music Jam -

If you wear the item by itself and you dance, you will do a special dance!

Members can acess Backstage if they buy an All Access Pass -

The Merch Booths can be found at the Ski Village, Iceburg and Snow Forts - 

The Ski Village booth is the same as the one at the Snow Forts -

Members can also access the new look Rooftop. You can access it from the Dance Lounge -

Cadence might make apperences on the rooftop! There is also a Free Item for members -

When, you have your All Access Pass, you will be able to access Backstage -

The message says - "According to my calculations, it's my fault that Herbert stole the Hydra-bot. I'm sorry everyone, I should have been more careful with it."

I think we should accept G's apology. At least we managed to defeat Herbert!

The message says - "I'm pleased to report that all damage from the Hydra-bot has been repaired. Excellent work everyone!"

The message is just about the EPF Facility been repaired. All of the Agents hard work has been worthwhile! Well done Agents!

EPF Room Has Been Repaired!

Hey Penguins!

Thanks to your hard work, the EPF room has now been repaired! - 

If you remember, Herbert destroyed the EPF Rooftop and caused damage to the interior of the EPF room. Agents defeated Herbert and have now repaired the room. Field Ops will also return later this month!

Last week, Club Penguin asked what your favorite musical instrument was. Many of you liked the Piano. Here's what Sunihh said -

My favorite would be the piano because you can give a soft tone or something to rock with! Also you can go so high or so low depending on the mood. You can create a master piece with the piano! I play the piano and write songs all the time, I do this because it either makes me feel happy,sad,anrgy, and maybe it just makes you want to dance! That i swhy I like the piano the best!
